Mr. Rietbroek brings 29 years of distinguished leadership in the consumer products industry, with a proven track record of delivering transformative growth, pioneering innovation, and consistently prioritizing stakeholder value at Fortune 500 companies. Most recently, he served as the inaugural Chief Executive Officer and Director of Primo Brands Corporation (NYSE: PRMB), North America’s largest branded bottled water company. Prior to this, Mr. Rietbroek assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer at Primo Water Corporation in January 2024. Under his stewardship, he orchestrated the transformative historic merger with BlueTriton Brands in November 2024, forging Primo Brands as the preeminent leader in the North American branded beverage market. The company is committed to Hydrating a Healthy America™, with a portfolio of brands including Poland Spring®, Pure Life®, Saratoga®, The Mountain Valley®, Arrowhead®, Deer Park®, Ice Mountain®, Ozarka®, Zephyrhills®, and Primo Water™.
Prior to this, he served for five years as Senior Vice President and General Manager responsible for Quaker Foods North America (QFNA), a reported sector of PepsiCo, and as Senior Vice President and General Manager at PepsiCo Australia and New Zealand. Before his tenure at PepsiCo, Mr. Rietbroek served as Vice President and General Manager for Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands, as well as Vice President and Global Sector Leader for Baby and Child Care at Kimberly-Clark Corporation. Mr. Rietbroek also spent 15 years at Procter & Gamble in management and marketing roles across North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He has worked across multiple consumer goods categories and has been recognized for exceptional brand building and innovation, receiving several awards and recognitions.
Mr. Rietbroek has served as a board member of the Consumer Brands Association, World Business Chicago, the Australian Food and Grocery Council, and the American Chamber of Commerce Australia. In 2024, he was honored by Key Executives as one of Tampa’s Top 25 CEOs, recognizing his visionary leadership and profound industry contributions. Under his leadership, Primo Brands was named one of America’s Greenest Companies by Newsweek. He was also a featured speaker at the 2025 Milken Institute Global Conference. He holds three packaging design patents and a Master’s in Economics and Business Administration from Maastricht University in the Netherlands.
